Last December, I had the chance to fly out to Seattle for a quick work trip and I got to see a bit of what this city has to offer. I've included below some photos I took while I was there, but if you scroll down a bit more, you'll see the main reason why I found myself in the PNW- to photograph a wedding!

A few shots from the ferry ride (my first time!) to Bainbridge Island :

And some shots on the ride back from Bainbridge Island to Seattle:

I had the chance to visit the Space Needle too! I'm a sucker for attractions that offer the best views of any city's skyline.

Seattle, and Washington in general, was a breath of fresh air from Los Angeles. There's still so much of this state that I want to explore, so I'm sure this trip definitely won't be my last!

Now for the main reason why I was in Washington in the first place. It was to photograph my friend Mags' wedding! I was excited for this from the day that she asked me if I could do it, and got even more excited when she told me that it would be in a National Park (!!!).

The venue was at Lake Crescent, which is part of Olympic National Park, and all I can say is that it's one of the most breathtaking places I've ever had the chance to visit. Everything from the venue to the small details put in the decor all came together so perfectly!  It was truly an honor to be able to photograph this event and I hope the photos do justice to how beautiful and amazing everything was.

Congratulations, Gio & Mags!
